Colorful oil on canvas unframed signed C. Bowman and titled "Basque Fishing Tenders"; SS 24"W x 24"H. Curtis Bowman has designed and produced museum exhibits for over 40 years. His background includes formal education and training in exhibit design, architecture, graphic design and marine education. Since 1980 Curtis has created fine art paintings concurrent with exhibit design and production. His work has appeared in numerous gallery and museum shows and has been collected throughout the US. He had three one-person shows in 2016, served as artist-in-residence in San Ramon, Costa Rica through Odysseys International, and is currently working on representational and abstract paintings in a maritime theme. He currently lives in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
